The Hong Kong Student Association (HKSA) is a student group that aims to foster closer ties among the Hong Kong students, and to draw bridges with the community.

The main goal of the Hong Kong Student Assoc. is to add cultural and intellectual diversity to the UO community. They plan cultural events for the entire campus to enjoy as well as serve as a support base for students who study at the UO from Hong Kong.   

Established in 1987, the goal of HKSA is to provide a medium for gathering fellow students from Hong Kong and to encourage cooperation between members. 

We also aim to promote Hong Kong culture to the university and community members by organizing activies that represent Hong Kong culture.  By encouraging involvement of students of different nationalities and backgrounds, we strive to promote understanding and tolerance of people from all over the world.
