Amnesty International is a recognized ASUO group at the University of Oregon.

Amnesty International undertakes action focused on preventing and ending the abuse of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination – in the context of their work to promote all human rights as articulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.   

Amnesty International is the largest grass-roots human rights organization in the world with more than 1.5 million members in 150 countries around the
world. The work of community and student chapters across the globe has helped countless people facing oppression and human rights violations.
The UO Amnesty group works in cooperation with Eugene's community

Amnesty International has an office in Room 11 of the EMU.

Room 11 is on the bottom floor of the EMU, across from The Buzz and right next to Union Market.

Please come by and visit us! We have a ton of human rights information and have access to many different resources.
