SETA is a local animal rights group dedicated to promoting a peaceful and just world for all animals (humans included). SETA is run by UO students and is open to animal advocates from the community.

SETA educates students, faculty, and the community about problems concerning the treatment of non-human animals. Their primary goal is to educate the community on different forms of animal exploitation including animal research, consumption of animal products, and blatant animal abuse of any kind. Outreach consists of tabling, demonstrations, vigils, video showings, speakers and dialogue, media and much more.
