An international sociological honorary society, Alpha Kappa Delta is open to students who meet the following criteria: a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, a cumulative GPA in sociology courses of at least 3.00, and completion of at least four sociology courses. Members investigate sociological issues and social problems through social and intellectual activities that lead to improvement of the human condition.
