The ASUO Programs Finance Committee (PFC) is composed of seven members: three Finance Senators, two members elected at-large by the student body, one appointed by the ASUO President and one appointed by the ASUO Programs Council.

The committee acts on all matters relating to the allocation of incidental fees to ASUO student programs, contracted services, and department-based programs funded by incidental fees. This budgeting process begins in the fall and ends with submission of an ASUO programs recommended budget to the Student Senate in the spring.

Mission Statement
The mission of the ASUO Programs Finance Committee (PFC) is to approve the allocation of the incidental fees for each student incidental fee funded program and service whose allocation is not approved by the EMU Board, Athletics and Contracts Finance Committee (ACFC) or Departments Finance Committee (DFC).

The PFC works with programs to ensure that they are educated in the requirements, and that acceptable budget proposals are submitted. PFC conducts line item budget hearings for each program to guarantee that all budget proposals are held to the same standard and treated fairly. The end result is for PFC to present a budget to the ASUO Student Senate that is acceptable and approved.

Goal Statement
To act on all matters relating to the allocation and appropriation of incidental fees to ASUO programs for the purpose of recommending a budget to the ASUO Student Senate.
