We are currently hiring a part-time Americorps position to assist with our school garden programs.
The School Garden Project is now accepting applications for a 675 term-of-service position as the SGP Special Projects Coordinator. Applications for this Americorps position will be accepted through March 8th, and the position starts on March 15th. The position is approximately 15-25 hours/wk, depending on the applicant's schedule.

The Special Projects Coordinator will focus on
1) assisting and/or leading educational sessions in school gardens
2) coordinating summer programs at four school gardens
3) locating and pursuing outreach opportunities in the local community.
This is an excellent position for an energetic, motivated candidate with a passion for gardening and outdoor education. Upon completion of the term of service, the member will receive an education award of $1,800. Up to 20% of the service term can be devoted to personal and professional development.
