The ASUO is hiring for student leaders for 2009. All positions include a monthly stipend. Applications for all positions must be picked up in the ASUO Office (EMU Suite 4) or found online at http://asuo.uoregon.edu/getinvolved.php
Stipend
Stipends are for positions that are often voted or elected into office. The pay is for expenses incurred, and in no way does the pay represent the hours worked or a form of compensation nor should an elected stipend role be seen as a job, work or an employment position. “Stipend” is used in both federal and state materials associated with scholarships, grants, and other financial aid.
