The University Counseling and Testing Center Advisory Board was established to assist the Counseling and Testing Center fulfilling its mission of providing a positive psychological climate on campus by assisting students to reach their academic goals.

The Advisory Board meets quarterly and is responsible for ensuring that the current programs and services and those that are being considered meet the students’ needs and interests.  The Advisory Board also works with the Director to put forth a request for increases to the Counseling and Testing Center portion of the health fee as needed.

The Advisory Board is comprised of eight voting members and three nonvoting members.  Voting members consist of five student representatives, who are selected through an application process, and three UO administrative faculty or staff, whom are not directly associated with the Counseling and Testing Center.

The three nonvoting members consist of the Counseling and Testing Center director, associate director and office manager. The Counseling and Testing Center is committed to creating an Advisory Board that is reflective of the students we serve.

We strongly encourage all students who have an interest in participating on the Board apply, particularly those with an interest in community mental health.
