Internships & Openings

Readers to Leaders provides a fantastic opportunity for students, faculty and staff to engage in an informal discussion relating to leadership through a variety of non-academic novels. Readers to Leaders allows students to gain a greater understanding of the concept of leadership and its real world applications, while improving communication and critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment. Some delicious snacks will be included.
Open to all interested students, faculty and staff and anyone who is enthusiastic about learning more about leadership. Prerequisites: Enthusiasm, interest and commitment. Holding a leadership position is not required. Participants must be able to commit to four meetings throughout the term.

NEXT READERS TO LEADERS
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th, 2009
6:30-8:00pm at the Mills International Center
Readers to Leaders is going to be covering the Relational Leadership Model and how it will help in organizations. It is going to be framed as more of an interactive conversation than a presentation. The date of the event is November 10, 2009 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the Mills International Center.
Readers to Leaders Benefits:
• Provide students, faculty and staff with an open forum to actively discuss and wrestle with the concept of leadership as presented in our current book.
• As one of the initiatives of the newly formed Holden Leadership Center, the Leadership Book Club will provide opportunity to inquire about leadership curriculum, experiences, and programs.
• The Leadership Book club will encourage forming relationships with other students, as well as provide a place to network with faculty and staff.
