Want to delve deeper into the topic of leadership, meet new people and get free snacks? Come explore leadership through fun and interactive group discussion. The four part series first meets on April 8th and will be discussing The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama. Readers to Leaders will provide a fantastic opportunity for students, faculty and staff to engage in an informal discussion regarding The Audacity of Hope. It will allow students to gain a greater understanding of the concept of leadership and the real world applications of it while improving communication and critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment. Some delicious snacks will be included.
Who: Open to all interested students, faculty and staff and anyone who is enthusiastic about learning more about leadership. Prerequisites: Enthusiasm, interest and commitment. Holding a leadership position is not required. Also be able to commit to three meetings throughout the term.

Outcomes:
• Provide students, faculty and staff with an open forum to actively discuss and wrestle with the concept of leadership as presented in our current book.
• As one of the initiatives of the newly formed Holden Leadership Center, the Leadership Book Club will provide opportunity to inquire about leadership curriculum, experiences, and programs.
• The Leadership Book club will encourage forming relationships with other students, as well as provide a place to network with faculty and staff.
